Europejskie Dni Dziedzictwa w Motulach Starych! Odbyły się warsztaty „Od wełny do kłębka i sukna”
W sobotę, 14 września w Zagrodzie Edukacyjnej i Gospodarstwie Agroturystycznym „Miodoborze” w Motulach Starych k. Filipowa odbyły się warsztaty „Od wełny do kłębka i sukna”. Uczestnicy zwiedzili również muzeum starej wsi i obejrzeli hodowlę zwierząt. Wszystko to w ramach 27. edycji Europejskich Dni Dziedzictwa pn. „Polski splot”. Organizatorem wydarzenia był Powiat Suwalski oraz Województwo Podlaskie.
Tegoroczne Europejskie Dni Dziedzictwa pn. „Polski splot” odbywają się w dniach 14-15 września. W ich organizację włączył się także nasz region. W sobotę w Zagrodzie Edukacyjnej i Gospodarstwie Agroturystycznym „Miodoborze” w Motulach Starych k. Filipowa odbyły się warsztaty „Od wełny do kłębka i sukna”.
Wydarzenie rozpoczęło się od zwiedzenia gospodarstwa, a mianowicie hodowli zwierząt. Zobaczyć było można owce, kozy, konie a nawet dziki i Daniele!
Następnie gospodarze zaprezentowali zgromadzone na podwórzu maszyny rolnicze. Większość z nich pochodzi z minionego stulecia. Są też takie, które pamiętają wojnę!
Po krótkiej przerwie uczestnicy zobaczyć mogli jak kiedyś wyglądała praca przy wełnie, ponieważ gospodarze zaprezentowali jak czesano i przędzono to naturalne włókno.
Atrakcją był niewątpliwie występ Zespołu Ludowego „Rospuda” z Filipowa, który wykonał staropolskie pieśni śpiewane przez kobiety podczas prac i zajęć domowych.
Uczestnicy przekonali się, że w muzeum starej wsi znajdują się także mniejsze sprzęty codziennego użytku – stare narzędzia, żelazka, maselnice, itp.
