Europejskie Dni Dziedzictwa w Filipowie. Odbył się koncert „Droga do wolnej Polski”.
W niedzielę, 16.09 br. w sali widowiskowej GOKiS odbył się koncert Droga do wolnej Polski. Niepodległość. Opowieści muzyczne, zorganizowany w ramach Europejskich Dni Dziedzictwa 2018.
Uroczystość rozpoczęła się przywitaniem gości przez Dyrektor GOKiS – Panią Barbarę Orchowską.
Następnie pracownicy GOKiS rozdali widzom śpiewniki, a na scenie pojawili się członkowie Zespołu Ludowego Rospuda. Wykonali oni trzy pieśni patriotyczne, do śpiewania których zaproszono wszystkich zebranych na sali. Były to utwory „Warczą karabiny”, „Smutna wierzba” i „Tam na błoniu błyszczy kwiecie”.
Oprócz tego usłyszeć było można solowy występ członkini zespołu – Pani Jadwigi Sikorskiej.
Kolejnym punktem koncertu był montaż słowno-muzyczny Droga do wolnej Polski przygotowany przez członków Kapeli Ludowej Onegdaj. Przypomnieli oni historię kraju pod zaborami i w czasie walki o niepodległość.
Po występie Kapeli Onegdaj głos zabrał Wójt Gminy Filipów – Pan Sylwester Koncewicz.
Na sam koniec zaprezentowana została historia Filipowa z lat międzywojennych. W prezentacji przypomniano m.in. miejsca pochówków ofiar I wojny światowej, historię kościoła ewangelickiego w Mieruniszkach, 29. Batalion KOP stacjonujący w Filipowie, a także budowę i odsłonięcie pomnika Marszałka Józefa Piłsudskiego. Wszystko zilustrowane zostało zdjęciami z lat 1914-1935.
Koncert Droga do wolnej Polski. Niepodległość. Opowieści muzyczne był częścią Europejskich Dni Dziedzictwa 2018 obchodzonych w województwie podlaskim. Poza Filipowem wydarzenia zorganizowały także m.in. Białystok, Dowspuda, Łomża i Wigry.
