179 osób z całej Polski i z zagranicy minęło metę Majowego Biegania nad Rospuda, które składało się z Półmaratonu Doliną Rospudy 21,097 km z Bakałarzewa do Filipowa i z powrotem oraz Biegu Bakałarza na dystansie 12 km wśród lasów i jezior.
1 maja 2017 przejdzie do historii Bakałarzewa i Filipowa oraz położonych miedzy nimi miejscowości. Uroki Doliny Rospudy, a przede wszystkim miłość do biegania przyciągnęły sportowców-amatorów i ich rodziny oraz znajomych z Holandii, Warszawy, Gdańska, Poznania, Łodzi, Wrocławia, Białegostoku oraz całej północno-wschodniej Polski.
