Jarmark rozpoczęła Msza Święta odprawiona przez proboszcza parafii pw. Wniebowzięcia Najświętszej Maryi Panny w Filipowie. Wójt Gminy Filipów Sylwester Koncewicz i przedstawiciel Starostwa Powiatowego w Suwałkach Barbara Cieśluk uroczyście otworzyli Jarmark.
Organizatorami Jarmarku byli Urząd Gminy w Filipowie, Starostwo Powiatowe w Suwałkach oraz Gminny Ośrodek Kultury i Sportu w Filipowie.
Organizatorzy składają wyrazy wdzięczności twórcom i rzemieślnikom ludowym za udział w uroczystości, mieszkańcom gminy Filipowa za poczynione prace na rzecz realizacji tego przedsięwzięcia, a uczestniczącym w biesiadzie zespołom ludowym za liczne i niezawodne przybycie oraz słoneczne występy. Pogoda nie dopisała, ale nie brakowało za to pogody ducha.
